Location: Valthume Quest: Evil In Waiting expert mode level 60 HD 720p PC. Nov 11, 2011 I'm doing that 'Evil in waiting' quest aswell but i don't find the 3rd vessel. I found the one next to some fire traps and the one in the first part of the dungeon. The marker says that the last one is behind the door that you open with the 'Claw of Steel' but i can't open the door.
During the quest 'Evil in Waiting,' Hevnoraak will be found at the end of the Valthume ruins. Valdar will be the one to task the Dragonborn with getting to him and killing him once and for all. Hevnoraak uses shock spells, which are the weakest form of magic. As such, he shouldn't be too hard to deal with. Evil in Waiting is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in which the Dragonborn must assist the spirit of Valdar to defeat Hevnoraak, a dragon priest inside Valthume.

Through the first entrance of Valthume, there will be a ghost named Valdar who gives this quest.

Collect the Vessels[edit | edit source]
Once this quest is completed the Dragonborn will have gathered three Opaque Vessels filled with a substance...
Perform the ritual with Valdar[edit | edit source]
... which must then be poured into a sconce (shown in quest). Then proceed to sit in Hevnoraak's throne. The dragon priest, Hevnoraak, will then rise out of its coffin demonstrating his ire.

Defeat Hevnoraak[edit | edit source]
Once defeated, there is a passage near the coffin which leads to a word wall containing the word Yah (Seek) which is part of the shout Aura Whisper.
