Admission Requirements

Online Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner

To be eligible for Bradley’s online ADN/diploma or BSN to MSN-FNP program, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • ADN/diploma or BSN from a regionally accredited college or university and an NLNAC-, ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program; or those nurses with a non-nursing baccalaureate degree must complete NUR 300, 303, 404 and 407
  • Proof of a current nursing license
  • Students may be admitted unconditionally if they have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate coursework. Students may be admitted conditionally if the last 60 semester hours grade point average is below a 3.0 and above a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants with previous graduate coursework must have achieved a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in all graduate coursework and have completed a minimum of 12 graduate credit hours for the graduate grade point average to be considered for admission.

To be eligible for this program, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Students may be admitted unconditionally if they have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate coursework. Students may be admitted conditionally if the last 60 semester hours grade point average is below a 3.0 and above a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Online Doctor of Education – Educational Leadership Program

To be eligible for Bradley’s online Ed.D. degree program, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of a master’s degree required

  • Three letters of recommendations (from supervisors in a position to assess the candidate’s leadership skills)
  • Personal statement essay detailing why the applicant is seeking admission to the Ed.D. Program
  • Graduate application and current application fee.

Tuition Rate: $930 per credit hour

Application Fee: $40 (non-refundable); $50 (non-refundable) for international applicants

Additional Nursing Fees:

  • Typhon Fee (software used to monitor clinical hours): $100
  • Malpractice Insurance: $66 each year
  • Background Check: Up to $118
  • Nursing Badge Fee: $5 fee for the card and $10 fee for shipping
  • Books/Supplies: Other additional fees include books, supplies and proctoring services for select courses.

Government Financial Aid Office

Additional Counseling Fees:

  • ENC 625 course lab fee: $100
  • Comprehensive Exam Fee: $50
  • EMS Fee: $50-$150 per year
  • Malpractice Insurance: Free if you join the ACA at the student rate of $96.
  • Residency Costs: Lodging, meals and transportation.
  • Books/Supplies: Other additional fees include books.

Payment Information:

Bradley University expects payment arrangements to be completed prior to the start of each academic term. Payments for the full term are due no later than the day before classes start.

Pay-in-full is the most economical option. However, for the regular semesters the University also offers longer-term payment options through the Deferred Payment Plan and Monthly Installment Payment Plan.

Payments can be made online by credit card. Effective June 1, 2014, a 2% fee is assessed on credit card transactions when using VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express for tuition and fees. The University cannot accept credit card payments over the telephone.

At no additional charge, online payments can be made by ACH debit from checking or savings accounts.
